beaoscar Displaced Nov 15, 2011 6:36 AM Can any one please help me obtain another doll like this one. If you know the name of the doll or the manufacturer would be helpful. I got this doll for Christmas when I was in the 3rd grade 1984, this photo was taken of me and Tom thats what I named him, in May of 1992. I figured after all those years he finally needed washing so I put him in the washing machine and he was torn to shreds. I tried my best to put him back together but no luck. My mom doesnt even remember what store she bought him from, so the internet is my last hope.
2729 good/bad/or all of the above May 28, 2011 9:49 AM It is so fun to hear about all the toys from my childhood. It is kind of dangerous though. Yesterday, I logged and then went right to a search engine scouring for my strawberry shortcake, and rainbow brite . I remember how amazing the strawberry shortcake dolls smelled and unless you buy one in the box they are mostly stated that the scent is gone. I was sort of sad about that, as dumb as that sounds when talking about a toy that came out about 7 9'.
2729 broken hearted May 27, 2011 10:17 AM I had all the popular 80's toys and played with them all the time. My basement used to flood and a lot of my toys stored in the basement toy chest got ruined. Then my Mom gave away my Rainbow Brite doll to my cousins girlfriends son. I was sooooooooooo upset. Recently, an ex friend donated my belongings that were she offered to store at her house, including books, games, card games, toys... I was so mad I did not even know what to do. I wanted those things for my kids. I am a sad 80's toy fan/collector

bellasera33051 Need help finding a doll for my GF Please Dec 1, 2009 8:34 PM My girlfriend is 29.  She was born Jan 10th 1980.  She was telling me the other day about a doll she always wanted and used to ask santa for it everyday and never got it for christmas.  She quit believing then. I am trying to find the doll.  The doll she described was a baby doll.  The eyes moved, and the baby had a diaper that when you placed under water, and the diaper got wet it said whether or not it was a boy or a girl.  I would love to find out who made this doll and if one is available as well as some information on it.  Would be a great christmas present.
