Lady Lovely Locks
Lady Lovely Locks came out in the late 1970's early 1980's. They were a collection of dolls with very long hair and colorful dresses. Each doll came with "PixieTails" a small plastic animal with long colorful hair that you could clip to the dolls hair or clothes. Each doll had her own name and theme. Of course I had the mermaid doll that you could push her skirt up to show her legs or pull it down into a tail.
Their was Lady Maiden Fair that was the main character,
her friends Maiden Curly Brown (no picture available)
Maiden Fair Hair,
Dutchess Raven,
Maiden Golden Waves (the mermaid),
the one guy in the bunch Prince Strong Heart
and one African American mermaid doll Maiden Misty Curls. (No picture available.)

Post a CommentI remember the name but none of the dolls look familiar.
That first doll looks familiar but I could be confusing her with another doll.
I'm not remembering these at all.

Oh Lady Lovely Locks was HUGE in my house. One Chrsitmas was pretty much dedicated to Lady Lovely Locks. Both of my sisters and I got the dolls and a bunch of accessories, and we each got a mini dollhouse. I think we spent the entire following year playing nothing but Lady Lovely Locks together.
I am certain I still have my doll in my hope chest, because my sisters and I had so many good times with these.
I don't remember these dolls.
There was a horse also!
aw... never had the dolls.. but I had the lady lovely locks "little golden book" books (those kid's books with gold colored spines) and a video.
I don't remember these dolls.
I remember those, I thought they were boring. You can only brush hair so many times.

Where's you imagination!?
My sisters and I created the most magnificent fantasy world where these dolls lived. We had so much fun with these.
I had the Barbie doll of these. She had the same body mold as Stacie but a bigger head...
This one!
